We are delighted to announce and welcome a new member to the SEF Board of Directors, Hugo Correa. Hugo is Senior Vice President, Account & Financial Reporting Officer for Cathay Bank. In addition to his role at Cathay Bank, he has selflessly served the San Gabriel community in various capacities for over 15 years. His qualifications and expertise has guided his efforts in various leadership roles such as Regional Commissioner for AYSO Region 40, City of San Gabriel Parks and Recreation Commissioner, La Casa Community Center Board Member, Member of the San Gabriel Unified School District Facilities Oversight Committee and Budgeting Oversight Committee, within the City of San Gabriel, Jr. Achievement and various other non profit 501c3 agencies. The positive impact he has made in our community cannot be understated.
We are extremely grateful for the time and dedication Hugo has already provided our organization. He will begin transitioning from his current role within the Foundation serving as a Community Art Project Advisory Committee Member to serve on the Executive Board as Treasurer, replacing retiring board member Nancy Listiawan.
We graciously thank Hugo for sharing his incredible leadership experience, skills, knowledge and a passion for positive change within our community. His valued perspective and background will help us continue to realize growth, build partnerships and ensure performance and for this we are grateful!
