What is Dream. Imagine. Create?

Dream. Imagine. Create. is a collaborative initiative to gather youth art created in the midst of COVID-19 school closures and stay-at-home orders. All Kindergarten through Grade 12 students are invited to participate in our 2021 virtual art exhibition. Submissions MUST be original and created by the student for this virtual exhibit.

Where will student art be displayed?

All qualifying entries will be featured in a virtual exhibition. A limited number of qualifying entries will be developed into street pole banners and hung within the Mission District in the City of San Gabriel. Published information may include: Student first name and last initial, Grade, School.

Award of Excellence

All qualifying entries will be adjudicated to win best of show (artist name, school will not be visible to the judges). Artwork that best captures the theme will be chosen based on the following selection criteria, one winner from each category:

  • Grades K-2
  • Grades 3-5
  • Grades 6-8
  • Grades 9-12

No copyrighted material, student photos or inappropriate artwork will be accepted.

How do I get involved?

Please consider uplifting this community-wide celebration of student art by becoming a Sponsor with a donation. Your donation will be allocated in support of our efforts as we bring the arts to life through this project. As a show of gratitude, we will provide sponsors giving a donation of $5,000 or more with banner-naming rights.
