Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts
SEF was recently awarded an $8,000 grant award from the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts. SEF is incredibly honored to be chosen as a grant award recipient this year. The grant award will contribute to SEF’s Kindergarten through Third Grade Music Instructional Program at all five public elementary schools in the community.
Each year, Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts awards gifts and grants to schools and symphonic associations. These gifts and grants are awarded to support musically oriented programs which include music therapy, music education and the underwriting of concerts.
Since 1948, Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts has awarded 19 million dollars in gifts and grants to support the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Walt Disney Concert Hall and other non-profit organizations that support local cultural and educational musically oriented programs for youth.
